RADIALS ARE FROM

The 090 radial extends east from the station, regardless of the aircraft's heading.

TO IS A COURSE

Centered with TO, the selected course leads toward the station and is reciprocal to the radial.

CHECK THE SENSING

Fly toward the needle with normal sensing. Correct opposite the needle when flying the reciprocal course with reverse sensing.
